Based on 1 Chronicles 1-3, Psalm 119

With the geneologies listed in 1 Chronicles 1-3, it's plain to see that God wants so much for us to believe in Him. He is a God of facts & proof! He gives us the Old Testament history of humanity, dating back to Adam:

"1: Adam, Sheth, Enosh,
2: Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,
3: Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
4: Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5: The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras." 1 Chronicles 1:1-5.

While it's a long list to read through, it's a list to be admired...that's because God is in the details! He cannot be disproved. We can also rest in knowing where WE came from!

Since the history here starts from the beginning of humanity, we can see that we are written into this too! This isn't just a story about a place named Jerusalem...this is the factual history Book of the world!

"43: Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44: And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead." 1 Chronicles 1:43-44.

The lineage of kings is also listed. God is so direct, so wonderful & SO REAL! There is no way we can deny Him!

"But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 10:33.

Again, there's just no way we can deny Him! If we do, it would be a sad ending to this story, connection & relationship with God! But when we choose to follow Him completely, THERE IS NO ENDING!

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."
John 6:47.

Do we believe what God says about our history? Do we believe what God says about our salvation & lifestyle of holiness? If we we believe on Him, Who IS the Word, then we will have no ending, but everlasting life!

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:38.

The good life on earth & in eternity is with God...that's a FACT!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
