Faith it Forward
"(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)" 2 Corinthians 5:7. Our Pastor's wife, Sister Sagil, presented to us such an excellent concept last night (which is why I totally recommend joining us during our Wednesday night Bible studies!). She talked to us about dead faith; and I thought, when's the last time I examined the status of my faith? I may claim my prayers in faith, but how strongly do I see the desired outcome actually coming to pass?
When we walk by sight, we are guided by what we see...and that's usually not promising! To be honest, it's more promising to trust in the unseen! We have the ability through faith empowering our prayers to speak life. To speak things into existence. To act like we've already received the miracle!!
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
Proverbs 18:21. This is why death & life come through our words! Are we speaking dead faith, or living faith? Do we talk it without walking it? For example, if we are praying for a healing with our words, we need to act like it! We need to praise! We need to be joyful in our attitude! Our Pastor also mentioned that our faith & works are married. There's a special connection between what we say & do. Are we hypocritical? Faith without works is dead!
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." James 2:26.
"(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." Romans 4:17.
As Sister Sagil said, we need to have faith like Abraham! We need to see past our circumstances! Speak those things which be not as though they were.
"Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." Mark 9:23.
Come visit us one day to hear Sister Sagil's miraculous testimony!!! It truly helps build those steps of faith!!! So faith it forward; don't let fear stop you!!!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
