Follow on to know The Lord

Bible Reading Today: Hosea 1-7
Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
It is easy to be unsure of those in society who are responsible for leading, protecting & managing our nation. We are always playing "follow the leader" whether we like it or not, although we may sometimes second-guess the decisions being made. That's because the results don't always match what was promised, and what sounded like a great idea doesn't always produce the fruit we thought it would. People are apt to make mistakes, but the closer we follow on to know The Lord, the more He follows through! Just as this Scripture states (paraphrased): we shall know if we follow Him that His going forth is prepared as the morning & He comes as the rain! Just as sure we are that morning will dawn upon us & rain will come, we can be sure that God will finish what He started in our lives...but we must follow! The closer we are to Him, the more we are going to know Him & know His plan for our life! God will follow through, but we need to follow too!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
