FORGET ABOUT DOUBT!
"But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" Matthew 14:30-31.
Right when Peter was in the middle of a miracle, he started to sink beneath the waves of doubt! Jesus told him to come out onto the water, and Peter actually did walk upon it! But, in the middle of that great miracle, Peter saw the power of the storm around him and doubted the power of God!
Jesus' question to Peter actually gives us the answer! "O thou of little FAITH, wherefore didst thou DOUBT?" The more faith we have, the less doubt we'll have!
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1.
Sometimes the only thing we can see with our physical eyes is the storm, so we need to have faith in the spiritual! God has a good report & miracles waiting for us, but we need to leave the boat of doubt behind us!
"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:3.
God made the world anyway! Nothing, no storm, no terrible situation, is more powerful than He is!
Have faith.

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
