Foundation Celebration
Bible Reading Today: Ezra 1-3
And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. Ezra 3:11
Once a good foundation is laid to a building, all else after that looks amazing. The height. The style. Everything...but it wouldn't happen without a solid foundation! All of the splendor of the building that we see and stand in awe of comes after we focus on the foundation, what is not seen. The same goes for our relationship with God and our walk with Him. We look at others and might think it takes too much, we could never be like that...but it didn't happen overnight! It took groundwork! The specific, peaceful, precise patience in prayer and The Word builds a solid foundation in our hearts (unseen) to the amazing ministry others see on the outside (seen). You CAN live for God! You CAN be a person of The Word! You CAN be a prayer warrior! Don't take those baby steps lightly. Every one of them counts. And after that foundation is laid, you can praise and celebrate like the Scripture says...even BEFORE the splendor is seen by the outside world of that skyscraper Spiritual life...because, God knows the foundation of our hearts. And pleasing Him is more than enough! The building will be built in time.

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
