Bible Reading Today: Psalms 17, 35, 54 & 63

Psalms 54:6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

In reading the story of David along with the many Psalms he sung, we see he stood by what he sang! Although he was human & made mistakes, his passion & love for pleasing The Lord was unmistakable! His integrity did not allow him to do anything out of obligation-he always had a heart after God! He freely gave the sacrifice of praise, offering up his best to God! Our lives need to praise The Lord & be living sacrifices today! David was way ahead of his time! He lived in the times of physical animal sacrifices, but he knew the deeper meaning of it all...he never got caught up in the "have to's" because to David, they were "want to's"! Next time that burn-out feeling rises up again, ignite that flame! Start worshipping! Start rehearsing His Word! And see that burn-out become a burning passion again-a burnt offering of praise! Freely given as Christ gave His life for us!

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
