Freedom Found!

Based on Leviticus 25, Mark 1:23-45

"And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth. And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils." Mark 1:36‭-‬39

Throughout the Bible, even up until now, people seek release. Redemption. Freedom from whatever it may be that's weighing down & holding back. And without even knowing it sometimes, people are seeking Jesus! As it says above, "All men seek for thee." God was always pointing to Himself as the answer! Whatever it is that you're looking for today can be found in Him!

From devils & disease in the New Testament to release from bondage in the Old, God always had freedom to offer! His compassion allows Him to care for strangers like friends. We must show the same compassion & love to others, and set them free from the mindset that no one cares...many people are stuck in that place, like a prison...but our Christ-like attitude can change that!

"And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant: But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubilee: And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return."
Leviticus 25:39‭-‬41

God always causes us to return. Release. And to remove the cause of our bondage. Those of this world may desire to abuse their positions of power, keeping people in terrible conditions...but God, with ALL the power, gives us new life, new hope & freedom! It's all found in Him! ALL SEEK FOR HIM, WHETHER THEY REALIZE IT OR NOT! That's why we must spread The Word of where freedom can be found-freedom physically, mentally, emotionally, behaviorally & Spiritually!

"And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed."
Mark 1:40‭-‬42

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
