Getting His Goodness

Gina Pietrzak

Reading of the Day 5/5/25: 2 Chronicles 6-8

2 Chronicles 7:10: And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.

In a previous post, we talked about how beautiful & glorious it is when we gather as one Body in the presence of God. He fills the room with His Spirit! That's pretty much the "inside scoop" of what happens during a church service too! And this above Scripture is just a little peek at what happens afterward! When the people were sent away to their tents, they were glad & merry in heart for the goodness that The Lord showed! Have you ever seen someone with a joyous spirit about them? Like they were just so peaceful & content even when life seemed crazy? They probably spent time in His presence! Next time you see people walking out of a church service, just take a look at how they act! There will probably be an overwhelming sense of joy pouring out of that place! Knowing what it's like to be on the inside and also after a time in God's presence at church, there's nothing left to do but just come experience it for yourself! Now, you don't have to question the joy you see on people's faces as they exit the church doors, or even just come out of a time of private prayer with God. There is so much Scriptural & testimonial proof to show that God shows up! We get His goodness! We understand it! We also receive it! It's about time we all got His goodness! We need to go expecting His Spirit to flood our souls just like the cloud filled the temple in Solomon's time!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
