GOD IS HIGH & MIGHTY, BUT HE MEETS US AT OUR LOWEST & WEAKEST!
"Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness." Psalms 150:2.
His mighty acts amaze us. His excellent greatness astounds us. But one thing I am in great awe of is His desire to come below all that to connect with us!
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14.
The Word, our God Jesus Christ, who spoke the whole universe into existence, came here to dwell among US! Next time we think we are unimportant to God, just remember that! The Creator came to the creation. And not only that, He came in the ultimate humble & lowly way: HE DIED FOR US!
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8.
When we didn't know any better, when we were still in our evil prideful ways as sinners, He died for us. So what can we do to show our appreciation? We can become meek & lowly too!
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Matthew 11:29.
We will only find rest when we stop trying to be the best. When we realize that God, who is the best, who has the best throne in glory, the best place to dwell in heaven, came down to our level because of His care & love for us!
The greatest title is a servant. One who bows & does not boast. Lord, help us to serve with a meek & lowly spirit, in Jesus' Name! In that humble manner, we will find rest!
"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God."
Hebrews 4:9. ❤

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
