God is where we are not.

Based on Ezekiel 35-36, 2 Peter 1

"Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:" Ezekiel 35:10

We always know that God is aware of where we are at all times...but we forget that the problems we are praying about have solutions that we are not a part of yet...but God is already there too! Just because we are not in the victory report yet, doesn't mean we can't praise Him in the prayer request! The above Scripture talks about plans of attack against God's people, and even in that moment, God was there! He knew what was to come. He is where we are not. If He is present in the problem and present in the prayer, we don't have to doubt that He will bring that victory!

"and I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD." Ezekiel 36:11

He will do better for us than our beginnings! Or do we want to stay stuck in the past? God is where we are not! God has moved on from our past & wants us to live in a brighter, more productive future...so let's go there with God!

"A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."

Ezekiel 36:26

"And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."

Ezekiel 36:27

A new heart, a new Spirit, a new self! We become new creatures in Him when we repent, get baptized in Jesus' Name & receive the Holy Ghost! This is a reminder that God has so much better planned for us; we just have to be willing to go beyond ourselves and press into His perfect will...so we CAN be where He is!

"Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it." Ezekiel 36:36

"whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." 2 Peter 1:4

He will build us up from brokenness. He takes us out of desolation and into precious promises! He gives us new life! But we must trust Him! We must remember that His field of vision is wider than ours. He is where we are not, and He knows the way to bring us where He is!
