God's Medicine
Based on Jeremiah 8-10
"22: Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?" Jeremiah 8:22.
Our nation & our world is in need of mass healing today. From COVID-19 to a plethora of other diseases, the world is surely in need of a cleansing & purging. As Jeremiah asked, is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no doctor? Why is everyone still sick!?
Turns out, God's medicine is the best medicine. His solution is best for every scenario! HE is that balm. He is the medicine! He is our Great Physician! God will direct us to the best & safest medical solution. But why are people still sick?
Just because a cure exists, that doesn't make us better. We have to TAKE the medicine! Just because God exists, that doesn't mean that miracles are just going to constantly present themselves to us. We have to believe! We have to be saved! Whether it be for the sickness of our bodies or the sickness of sin, we have to be in full surrender to God! God can do miracles to try to change our unbelief, but we can only go so far with God before He stops giving us those wake-up calls. The time of response is now!!
"12: Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?" Jeremiah 9:12.
Let's be wise. Let's have a godly wisdom about us. Trust The One who created our bodies to not only heal us, but save us! Let your life extend to eternity, not just the here & now!
"20: The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved." Jeremiah 8:20.
"23: O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jeremiah 10:23.
Remember which way we should go: God's way! Not only for our physical health, but for our spiritual health & salvation! Cleaned, cleansed & purged by water & Spirit:
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:38.
