Going to Battle
Bible Reading 3/17: Deuteronomy 17-20
Deuteronomy 20:1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
When we go out into the world, living our lives, it could very well feel like we are heading into a war zone! We are aware of the dangers, difficulties & disasters which could take place...but we also need to be aware of God at all times! We only need to fear and focus upon Him, not our problems! Jesus fights for us, so we need to stand on His side! He always wins! Just like God reminds the Israelites of where He brought them out from, remember that we also come from somewhere! We have seen miracles too, so let's not forget that when the next battle arises! Keep God on the forefront of the mind & heart in order to see victory on the battlefront!
