Got needs?
Reading of the Day 8/23/25: Isaiah 24-26
Isaiah 25:4: For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
Paul the apostle said, "To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some." 1 Corinthians 9:22. Paul was allowing the character of Jesus to work through him. He wanted to do & be whatever was needed at the time in order to save souls...he wanted to be the hands & feet of Jesus, meeting everyone's needs, in order for them to see their need for their Father in Heaven. This is because, when God meets our needs, He meets US! He WANTS to be our Provider! God created us that way so we would always have a sense of reliance upon Him & stay closely connected to Him as our Source and Lifeline. Those who think they have it all together, they have no God...or rather, their "god" might be themselves. This is dangerous, because while God may allow for us to lead our own lives here on earth, enduring our own ups & downs without calling upon His Name, there will come a day where our eternity depends on how dependent we were upon Him. Although this is important, this doesn't mean that we just sit around & wait for God to make something out of our lives...and that's because He created us with the ability to be just as creative & innovative as we are weak & needy. So, we need to have confidence, but also dependence. Creativity, but also conviction, asking God to direct our creative endeavors. We will then have balance of the soul. We will have peace. And that's because we are thinking beyond this life, into eternity. Eternity with the God Who is our strength, our refuge, and our shadow from the heat as Isaiah says in the above Scripture. He meets any need we have! Got needs? God heeds!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
