Grudge to Grace
Reading of the Day: 2 Samuel 7-9
2 Samuel 9:7: And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
As Scripture says in Acts 13:22, David really was someone with a heart after God's own heart! David was determined to let God shine through him and it showed throughout all of Israel! It was especially shown in the example of the above Scripture in 2 Samuel 9:7, where David invites Saul's grandson & Jonathan's son, who happened to be lame & could not walk, to have a place at his table! After a long, strung-out grudge held by Saul against David, that grudge finally was put to rest by grace! Instead of killing to put an end to the family of Saul, David showed kindness to end the feud once and for all! A grudge never hurts those we hold them against-they hurt us! And these grudges can be quickly dissolved, and resolved, by having grace! We may not always resolve things to the point of having them present at our table, but we may pray a prayer forgiving them & releasing ourselves from the prison and bondage of unforgiveness. Grace is greater than a grudge! We feel better, and more Christ-like, when we show grace instead of holding onto a grudge! So feel the peace! Feel the release! Live a life restored as we move from grudge to grace in Jesus' Name!

A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
