Hand over the Power

Bible Reading Today: Judges 6-7

Judges 7:2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.

Human hands are responsible for creating some masterpieces, but also some messes. There is seemingly great potential power in the hands of men, to build, or to destroy...remember the tower of Babel? It was a great fortress, but the people thought they were stronger and more powerful than God! Every inch higher was a step further up the high horse of pride in their lives! And in this above Scripture, in the story of Gideon, The Lord dwindled down the army of Israel to show that the power to win battles is ultimately in the Hands of The Lord! He has the power, and He is Lord of all! He has the true Hand of power, so we must hand over our power to Him! Our human power & strength in no way compares to what God is able to do, so why do we try to do it all on our own anyway?? Remove the stress by handing over our will & power to His Hand, which is the most powerful! Give it all to Jesus in prayer & see what He is able to make of it!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
