Have we forgotten?
Based on Hosea 5-8, Revelation 2
"Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him." Hosea 8:3
When we break a routine or habit that benefits us, it's sometimes hard to "snap back in" after the fact! Some things need to be broken & replaced with better habits & behaviors, and those are things to think about as we turn the corner & enter a new year...but how about bringing some things back? I would just like to say I'm glad to be back again! I definitely don't want to let this year end without finishing a whole year of devotions with all of you! Nonetheless, sometimes it's hard to re-gain the same momentum & keep growing & building off of it! Please pray for me as we go, and I will do the same for all of you...and remember to let me know any prayer requests! As the above Scripture states, Israel had cast off that which was good-so let's not do the same! Let's keep pursuing after our good God together as we enter 2022!
"I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing." Hosea 8:12
I truly pray that we have not become strangers! Also, I pray we never become strangers to God's Word! He has great things in store for us! Don't take the Light of the world lightly!
"Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love."
Revelation 2:4
Let's return to our first love! We have been & will be around many loved ones this season...but let's return to Jesus, get grounded again, and make each moment with them more meaningful!
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." Revelation 2:29

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
