He Fails Not!

Based on Joshua 19-21, Luke 2:25-52

We fail a lot. So much trial & error (but mostly error!). We are imperfect because we NEED a perfect GOD! The ONE TRUE GOD! He completes us, AND He completes everything He says He will do. All loose ends tied up. Nothing left undone. We are never left lacking or missing anything when we trust God with our lives!

"And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass." Joshua 21:43‭-‬45.

God gave Israel the land He promised them, and it was divided evenly among every tribe! Not to mention protection from their enemies! It seemed like a complicated process to divide the land among that many people, but remember, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD! We would have had to stop many times to check the math, but God already knows! That's why we should never find shame in trusting God. We are not weaker, we are STRONGER! We are only satisfied through Him alone. Our own smarts & wits won't fulfill us in the end...because in the end, there's no trophy for "best you name it". There's a Heavenly home for those whose hearts & eyes were set on Heaven in this life!

"And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;"
Luke 2:25‭-‬31.

Simeon's eyes were waiting on The Lord...he could find no rest until he saw Jesus! He LONGED for Him! He was satisfied when He saw Him! His eyes saw God's salvation! He held Jesus in his arms as Jesus holds us every single day...

Our eyes see enough failure...from the world around us, and from ourselves...we can't be our best unless we trust in The Best, and that's God!! God can help us to gain the land, resist the enemy, and achieve everything He desires us to...we just have to trust! To seek Him! To love Him...and remember, HE FAILS NOT!!!
