He is Enough
Reading of the Day: Deuteronomy 13-15
Deuteronomy 15:6: For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
Life has so many demands...it's easy to feel like we are trying to hold too many spinning plates that are bound to crash! I have to admit, getting overwhelmed is a daily battle that I need to bring to The Lord. But this is exactly why Jesus is enough! We will never have enough time, money, patience, or anything else-unless we have Jesus! He supplies! He provides! His blessings are a promise, as this Scripture states! We will have enough to give, and not have to borrow! No earthly thing can fill that hole that's designed for Jesus! When God is reigning over our lives, we don't have to worry about anything overwhelming us or having control over us. That's something I must keep reminding myself on a daily basis! Our stuff is not what sustains us...Jesus sustains us AND supplies what we need to survive! We need to trust Him with our needs. We need to give Him control when we feel out of control. We need to remember that He is enough, and He always makes sure we have enough...and even when we feel we are lacking, it's just another opportunity to trust His plan & timing, because something is always on the horizon!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
