He's Still There.

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Jeremiah 3-5

"4: Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?" Jeremiah 3:4.

When we were young & innocent, we found it easy to trust God. We couldn't see far past our own noses. We had no experience. We needed a guide. When we grew older, we saw more of the world, experienced more of the world, and thought we had it all figured out! Turns out, sight deceives us, but God doesn't! We cannot trust the world like we can trust our God! He is our Father, and He is still there. We just need a little more faith as our vision instead of our eyes, just like when we were little. Think about it...the world was still happening when we were young & unaware, so God doesn't need our help! Turns out we need to turn back!

"15: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." Jeremiah 3:15.

Thank God for our Pastor, and all the Pastors who lead people back to the Truth! They show people that God still loves us, He's still there, and we can trust Him. We just have to reject all the baggage the world has laid upon us!

"1: If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.
2: And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory." Jeremiah 4:1-2.

We must return before His return! He is coming back for His church, so we need to be ready & rid of the sins of this life. We want to glory in Him. We want to glorify Him. We don't want to disappoint our Father. HE IS STILL THERE! He still loves us & knows what's best for us at every age!

"1: Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it." Jeremiah 5:1.

He will pardon us when we ask forgiveness! Seek the Truth! Seek God! No matter how far we've gone, He won't reject us. We just need to fully accept Him, His Word & His Way of salvation:

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:38.

He's still there with open arms. Let's return!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
