Reading of the Day: 1 Kings 7-9

1 Kings 8:24: Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

As we talked about in the last post, David left quite the legacy & inheritance behind for his son Solomon. It is so important for our children to hear testimonies of our experiences with God, showing how He always comes through! We need to walk closely with The Lord in order for us to be able to develop a collection of these experiences, because our children can use them as weapons against the enemy! When they hear of the times we trusted in God & He provided, they will prevail against the enemy of doubt & deceit later in life! As Solomon said & prayed so profoundly in this above Scripture-God kept all he promised! He spoke it, and He did it! God never delivers empty words or promises! His entire Word has proven true time & time again! We never have to worry about hearing God, but not seeing God. We never have to doubt that the good things he speaks won't come to pass. 1 Kings 8:56:  "Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant." His Word does not fail, so His actions never will either! Our God says, and He does!

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
