He Will

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Micah 6-7, Nahum 1

Our God is a God of His Word. As was emphasized in our last reading, it is so clear that God IS His Word, so of course He will do what He says He will do! While that does mean He follows through with judgment & wrath upon those who turn away, it also means He will do the good that He has promised to those who stay in the faith, and to those who choose to turn back after turning away! Jesus is our merciful God...HE WILL!

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" Micah 6:8.

God has given us these simple instructions to live by. When we are saved & committed to Him, we can follow through with this easily with the guidance of His Spirit. This is what God requires of us! This is what He WILLS! When God wills something, there's no stopping it!

"Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me." Micah 7:7.

When we say I WILL, watch how HE WILL:

"He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea." Micah 7:19.

GOD WILL HAVE HIS WAY! Time to get on The Lord's side ALL THE WAY!

"The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet."
Nahum 1:3.

Our Pastor has preached so many powerful messages about how God WILL have His way in the whirlwinds of our lives. He has a plan for every storm, and if we cling to Him, we WILL come out victorious!

"The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him." Nahum 1:7.

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
