His Complete Care

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Genesis 46-47

"And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while." Genesis 46:29

Imagine the depth of emotion going on in this situation...a father who lived believing his son was dead, now beholding & embracing him alive! If that doesn't say "God does the impossible," I don't know what does...but that's only the beginning! Not only does God meet this emotional need, but God goes on to provide & care for this family, and many others, in every way possible-physically, mentally, spiriually, emotionally...God is able to give us COMPLETE care!

"And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded." Genesis 47:11

No home? No problem! Not only does God care for our soul, but again, he mends our broken hearts & even cares about giving us a place to live. In these 2 chapters, we see how God alone is our everything, how He desires to be our all in all. When we make God a priority, He takes away any worry we might have about all our other priorities! All other things will fall into place when we fall in love with Jesus!

"And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father's household, with bread, according to their families."

Genesis 47:12

Our physical health & nourishment are even of concern to God! He gives us the proper care we need. He gives us COMPLETE care, and leaves nothing out. Every void, weakness, pain, or anything in between is seen by God-but like Joseph, we need to trust that our lives are better placed in God's Hands than even our own...He created us, and therefore He cares for us in a way that we can't even do for our own selves...let's give God our complete heart & watch Him overwhelm us with His complete care!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
