Hope is Here!

Based on Deuteronomy 30-32

"For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off." Deuteronomy 30:11.

God's Word is not hidden-so hope is not hidden! God has so much encouragement present in His Word-so I pray that together we are not only reading it, but applying it! It's one thing to read about hope, but it's another thing to be hopeful! When we live God's Word instead of simply reading it, hope enters into us! Faith flows through us...especially when we receive the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking with new tongues!

"And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee."
Deuteronomy 30:2‭-‬3.

We have been scattered to many corners of the earth-isolated into our homes. We may feel like we are in captivity as Scripture states above...and the only way to be released is by releasing ourselves back to The Lord! The world has had a grip on us for too long! Let's obey His Word with all our heart & soul and give it everything we've got, because God has compassion waiting for us!

"And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live." Deuteronomy 30:6.

Our doctors are so vital, more so now than ever before. They are treating people with this virus in hopes that all will make it through. They are facing life and death every day. We need to keep them in our prayers! And here's the great thing-when we know the Truth and love & rely on God, we will have peace through these situations! We will not only be "in hopes" for a good outcome, but we will have a sure hopefulness that the Great Physician has a divine procedure in place to not only help our bodies, but help our spirits-a circumcision of the heart, THAT WE MAY LIVE!!

"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." Deuteronomy 31:6.

Although we are in a "stay-at-home" order, we walk in uncharted territory. It doesn't quite feel the same right now. So much is happening in our world, yet the world seems like it's at a standstill...why would God make time stand still? It's as if He's saying "Wait a minute, hold on, let's re-focus here!" So let's do that! Let's be strong and of a good courage! Let's go forward in time and in step with Jesus! It's not the first time He made time stand still...

"And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day." Joshua 10:13.

"Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:"
Deuteronomy 31:12.

Never fear, but have hope! We can still gather virtually! Remember to tune-in to our livestream services on Sundays at 10:30AM and Wednesdays at 7PM on nhtupc.com! Bring everyone and the kids together to receive the Truth and live for God. Our nation needs it now!

"And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it." Deuteronomy 32:46‭-‬47.

THIS is our life. Not the material possessions. Not the places we once enjoyed going. GOD is our lifeline...and it couldn't be more obvious than it is right now. Let's turn back. Not to desperately cling to our old life, but to cling to our hope & first Love-Jesus! Oh, those things will be back. We will be able to walk the earth again...but let's do it under the protection of God!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
