How much?
Bible Reading Today: Exodus 7-9
Exodus 9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
In reading through these chapters, it is clear that Pharaoh was set in his ways against God & His people. Before The Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, he made the choice to harden his heart on his own. How much was it going to take? How many plagues does it take to get someone's attention & change their ways? We can look at our own lives and sometimes ask the same questions! If we have drifted away from God's path toward the promise, maybe some type of plague or problematic situation is being used to get our attention! But the question is, how much is it going to take? Another important question: How much does God love us? Enough to want our attention & affection re-directed back to Him! Let's respond to our wake-up calls alert & ready to surrender ourselves fully to God! Then we will experience a great turn-around as we finally leave Egypt & enter the promised land!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
