Imagine that...
Reading of the Day 5/3/25: 1 Chronicles 29, 2 Chronicles 1-2
1 Chronicles 29:18: O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
Our imaginations can go to some pretty wild places...sometimes some unwanted ones. Sometimes places of fear, doubt, confusion, or even just simply daydreaming. While the imagination sparks creativity, it could also be a distraction & someplace which carries our minds far away from God! This is why our imagination, while good at times, needs some boundaries! Just like our hearts need to be guarded, our imaginations do as well. That's why this Scripture talks about both! "...keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:" Many of the things we imagine in our minds, if dwelt on long enough, become things we desire in our hearts. They quickly become things we pursue & act upon! This is why we must submit our imaginations to the things of God! Imagine how many amazing, wonderful things He has to reveal to us! In doing this, and keeping our imaginations strong with His Word, we will protect ourselves from intrusive thoughts & feelings of doubt or confusion! We will be at a place of peace! The Lord wants us to dream, but He does not want us to drift! We need to keep our hearts & minds pure as a place for Him to freely dwell!
Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
