Bible Reading Today: Deuteronomy 30-31

Deuteronomy 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

God's Word is not a mystery, and His Word is Truth! All God says, and all that He is, can be found in the Bible. His promises always come to pass, and His miracles are real! The only mystery is the majesty of God which is beyond our comprehension...but the existence of God can be seen in our every day lives; there's no question about that! He is real. He is Truth. He is Life. He is not hidden or far off from us, no matter how quiet or empty it may seem at times...remember, He has a still, small voice which speaks directly to our hearts in prayer. His Word is clear to us when we open ourselves Spiritually to receive it. We just have to be willing to search, not willingly ignorant of Truth. We can't be afraid to open the Bible! We can't be afraid to admit we might be wrong, that maybe there's more to God than we know right now. Search His Word, know His heart, understand His plan for your life...and see just how close to Jesus you can get! You might just find a treasure hidden in plain sight...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
