Bible Reading Today: Hosea 8-14

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Farmers & gardeners are at their busiest time of year-sowing in order to reap a great harvest. While some crops do well in colder seasons, most of the crops we grow are started late spring into summer. So literally, the time is now! And not just for those who work in gardens & fields...the time is now for us to sow Spiritually as well! As the Scriptures states, what we sow in righteousness we will reap in mercy! We need to break up that fallow ground & get started! Don't be afraid to soften & break up the soil of your heart & allow God to do some work! Some weeds need pulling! Some seeds of The Word need planting! "...for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you." He will do it all, plus bring the rain of His Spirit to help us grow! From the planting to the growing, the sowing to the reaping, the new birth to the new life...Jesus has a great harvest ahead of us, planting now & planning for eternity!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
