Journey to Jesus
Bible Reading Today: Exodus 19-21
Exodus 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
God continues to remind the Israelites of where they have come from...but also where they are going! Our lives are not just about making it over the next hurdle...or out of the next Egypt...it's all about what, and Who, is on the other side! God was bringing the Israelites to Himself, and that has always been the point of life's journey...a journey to Jesus! We must draw closer & closer to Him each & every day. Our eyes need to be continually fixed upon Him, and we need to have an eternal perspective! We desire to be in Heavenly places with Him...so let's make sure our earthly journey is one which keeps connected with our Savior! Our goal is to be one day caught up with Him in the air...just like eagles' wings. "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10
