Just like being mindful, we need to be HEARTFUL!

"My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise." Psalms 57:7. I'm not sure if "heartful" is a real word, but we need to be conscious of where our hearts are at just as much as where our minds are at! Is my head in the right place? Is my heart in the right place? "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." Colossians 3:2. Just as God orders our thoughts & steps, I pray that He continue to order the affections & desires of our hearts! Fix them on God above, not in the false hopes & pleasures of this life! "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9. God knows it! Time & again we've heard the saying "follow your heart." However, that doesn't always lead us to the right place! If we follow God, our hearts WILL end up in the right place! We will NOT end up heartbroken. He makes us whole & keeps us together. No matter how long we have had a hurting heart, Jesus can fix our whole hearts when we fix our whole hearts on Him! "When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?" John 5:6. For the longest time a man waited by a pool which had the ability to heal people when an angel troubled the waters. No one was there to carry him in, so he was never able to get the healing. Then Jesus stepped into the situation! Jesus asked, "Wilt thou be made whole?" And then said to take up his bed & walk! NO NEED FOR THOSE WATERS WHEN THE LIVING WATER STEPS IN! Jesus doesn't only heal the problem, He makes us whole! He brings the physical, emotional, mental & spiritual in line where it needs to be! That's what an eternal living water can do! The mind, the heart, THE WHOLE BODY! ❤❤❤ Have a mindful, heartful & purposeful day in The Lord in Jesus' Name, Amen!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
