Just Right!

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Exodus 16-18, Matthew 18:1-20

God wants us to put Him first so that we can have a balanced life. In doing so, things will be just right! We will have our priorities straight!

From Old to New Testament to now, God has provided exactly what we need!

"And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating."
Exodus 16:18.

God gave manna to the Israelites, and He can surely provide the "manna" you need in your situation! No more, no less. Just right! Even in the wilderness, we are never left wandering!

"See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day." Exodus 16:29.

God even gives us just enough so we can rest without worry. He made a way for the Israelites to have enough to rest from gathering on the sabbath day, and He will make sure that you will be physically provided for with your emotions at ease!

I know today there's a lot of "what will tomorrow bring? Do I have enough of what I need?" As you prepare, keep in mind that JESUS is enough and He is ALL WE NEED!! He will provide for us when we trust in Him!

"How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray." Matthew 18:12‭-‬13.

Our God cares so much for us! Each an every sheep. Each and every lost soul! If you feel lost & unbalanced, look to Jesus to make things just right!!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
