KEEP GOING.

KEEP GOING.

"Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk." John 5:8. Jesus healed a physically impaired man in this simple command. This not only can apply to us physically, but emotionally.

Any time we feel depressed, or in such a state of panic where we feel paralyzed, just call on Jesus! He will give you the ability to move again, to keep going when all hope seems lost. We don't have to be paralyzed in pain, we can move by His might!

"I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living."Psalms 116:9.

My children LOVE the story of David and Goliath. That story, like every other Bible story, is a story that keeps us learning new lessons each time we read. Today, I tell you this: the world sees you as David. The small one. The one who is easy to intimidate. But God sees you as Goliath. God is gently speaking to your heart to remember that with Him, you can be a spiritual giant. David did not even have any weaponry besides the stone and sling to fight with. He had to use Goliath's sword to cut Goliath's head off after he was knocked down by that stone. But later in life, David used Goliath's sword to fight again. The point is, spiritual weaponry is stronger than physical. What God is able to do in the physical is not comparable to what happens in the spiritual realm! He is a God of awesomeness, depths, heights, and...the God of what we deem impossible. Take up your spiritual weaponry and keep on walking!

"But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7.

In this living, breathing, beautiful world, don't keep yourself stuck under a mess. Let Jesus do a clean sweep, inside & out. Let go of paralyzing pain & walk on a power-filled path fueled by reliance on God. He loves you & wants to help you heal.

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
