Keeping Our Word
Bible Reading Today: Numbers 28-30
Numbers 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
It means a lot to those we love to keep a promise. To keep our word. To follow through...and it also means a lot to God! This is because God sets the beautiful example of never breaking His promises to us. He is forever faithful! March is a little late to think about New Year's Resolutions, but with God, it's never too late to commit (or re-commit)! What have we promised to do on our walk with God that we have forgotten about? Have we kept our word? Or, have we been afraid to make a deeper commitment to God for a fear of failing or seeming different than everyone else? Spring is coming-a new season is approaching-let's do something fresh & new with Jesus leading the way! Let Him lead you through repentance, into the waters of baptism & speaking in a new Heavenly language as you receive the Holy Ghost (the 3 Keys of Salvation)! Let's go to church more! Let's read His Word & pray more! Let's keep our word to God as God's Word fills our hearts & lives this year in Jesus' Name!
