Kept, not Left

Bible Reading Today: Genesis 27-29

Genesis 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

As this Scripture states which was spoken to Jacob-God will keep us; He won't leave us! The great thing about Scripture is that God speaks to us through the ages-what was true about God then is still true now! We are kept by Him, under His protection & authority, every time we make a Spiritual choice instead of a selfish choice! When we follow Scripture, we are walking the same path these great men of old walked! Was Jacob perfect? Absolutely not! But he went through the same perfection process we can go through today-and God never abandons us on that journey! He gives us the opportunity to receive His Spirit so He can dwell in us! Call upon His Name & be filled with a new Spirit, new breath, new language & new life! He will never leave us; He has always kept us...but have we left & not kept His ways? Something for us all to evaluate this year! "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
