Lacking Nothing

Bible Reading Today: Deuteronomy 1-2

Deuteronomy 2:7 For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

By the grace & mercy of God, we are alive today! And not just because we have been born, but because we have survived a time & season of pandemic and chaos in our world! We can be so thankful for every breath & everyday, just knowing that. This Scripture spoken to the Israelites reminded them of this very same concept. Although COVID-19 was not around yet, the Israelites were no strangers to hardship. But God wanted to remind them in a special way that they were blessed. God had been with them through all their time in the wilderness. They lacked nothing! We have to look at our lives that way too! We might not have exactly what we would like at times. It may not feel the greatest to go through what we are going through. But we are so blessed to be where we are today! God has brought us through a great pandemic wilderness journey. We have truthfully & honestly lacked nothing! He has given us all we need, and now we need to withhold nothing from Him! He is calling us to carry our testimonies with us & get deeper into His Word, being living breathing proof that our God is a Miracle Worker!

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
