Life in the Blood
Bible Reading Today: Leviticus 16-18
Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
As difficult as blood is to see or talk about, it is a critical part of life & new birth. Having just recently been through the physical process giving birth to my daughter Dakota, I can see so many Spiritual connections! Without the flow of blood, there could be no physical life because circulation would be cut off. Without the flow of The Blood of Jesus, we could not experience Spiritual & eternal life today! We can study these Old Testament sacrifices with more soberness & appreciation as we see that blood is both involved in giving life & giving up life...they all point to Jesus paying that ultimate price! As blood still courses through our veins today, let's be thankful for that beautiful sacrifice, living a life covered by The Blood of Jesus every step of the way! Also covered in His Blood through baptism in Jesus' Name, and that new breath of precious life, The Holy Ghost, repenting, changing, transforming, and living according to The Blood!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
