Look Out!
Reading of the Day 2/28/25: Deuteronomy 22-24
Deuteronomy 22:1: Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.
Being a Christian and being a bystander is impossible. When we see someone struggling and in need, we cannot fall victim to the bystander effect as a true Christian. We cannot look around & think someone else will just step up & take care of it. We may be the only one with Christian values in the room! That person is there counting on us, and God planted us there for a specific reason! Also, if someone who does not claim to be a Christian steps up, what does that say about us? I am not saying we are the heroes & no one else has the capacity to be so...everyone has the ability to answer the call & vill the void...but if we truly follow Christ as the true Hero, and we know He never ever turns a blind eye to us, how could we possibly do that to others? We serve a God Who never lets us down! He is always looking out for us! So, we need to LOOK OUT! We need to be aware of those in need around us! We need to be our brother's keeper! When we have the Holy Ghost, we have a God Who works in us & does the work through us, so we never have to worry about how we will help...we just have to say yes! Just as the Scripture says, we need to restore & provide for others when we are able to. We cannot hide & turn a blind eye, because we would then be doing that to Jesus. We need to look out & love others, because He loved us first!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
