Lost & Found
Bible Reading 10/17: Matthew 16, Mark 8, Luke 9:18-27
Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Normally, when we lose something, it's because we no longer have it in our possession. In many fortunate cases, there may be a lost & found where we can go & retrieve it. But in some unfortunate cases, without a lost & found, we have to face the fact that it's lost. Interestingly, there is something we can lose so easily, even when it's in our possession, in our very grasp...and that's our life! Sometimes, if we hold onto our lives too tightly, without any room for God to interact, intervene, or interject, or inspire us, we run the risk of losing our lives...even though we think we have a good grip on things and we have it all together! Don't be afraid to give your life away freely to Jesus! In most cases, it's a shame when something falls out of our hands & gets into the hands of others...but in the case of our lives, when we freely lay them down at the feet of Jesus, we place them into the best "lost & found" there is! Jesus can do so much more with our lives than we can. Loosen the grip & allow Jesus to take hold of your life, and you'll find exactly what you've been looking for!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
