LOVE IS SACRIFICE!
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13. We can show love in many different ways, but the greatest was when Jesus laid down His life for us!
So how do we model that? He was the only greatest sacrificial Lamb, so how can we show others that same sense of love? BE SELFLESS! In that way, they will truly know Christ!
One motto we focus on time & time again in church is this: J.O.Y. which means JESUS, THEN OTHERS, THEN YOU! It beautifully spells out what true JOY really is! We are not losing out. We are winning back PEACE. FREEDOM. JOY. LONG-LOST FRIENDS. You name it! We never get what we want out of life until we stop focusing only on what we want. 😉❤
