Mighty Moms
Based on 1 Chronicles 7-9
"2: And the sons of Tola; Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father's house, to wit, of Tola: they were valiant men of might in their generations; whose number was in the days of David two and twenty thousand and six hundred." 1 Chronicles 7:2.
Several times throughout these chapters, there is special mention of the "men of valor/valiant men/mighty men." It was important to God to not only continue to list the geneologies and give attention to those details, but to also give attention to those who were honorable in battle.
Today, we as women are in a battle like never before for our children! We need to protect them from the many things this world tries to influence them with. Moms have always been protectors and courageous fighters for their children, but now, it really counts! Can we be listed as the mighty and the valiant Moms? How do we win??
Remember the last post! Prayer is the path to victory! We don't need to armor up physically, but spiritually! JESUS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN!!
"(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)" 2 Corinthians 10:4.
We are mighty THROUGH GOD! Also, in the last post there was proof of this: God's people won a particular battle not because of their skill with their swords, but with their cry to The Lord!
"40: All these were the children of Asher, heads of their father's house, choice and mighty men of valor, chief of the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that were apt to the war and to battle was twenty and six thousand men." 1 Chronicles 7:40.
Are we apt for war? Are we spiritually armored??
"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Ephesians 6:11.
Here is a list of the full armor of God:
"Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;" Ephesians 6:14-18.
Keep in mind, salvation IS a part of this!! We need to be baptized in Jesus' Name & receive the Holy Ghost in order to have the full armor!
Are you ready for what today brings? Or the rest of the week? We are fighting some serious battles out there for our children's safety! Be aware in prayer! Stay in His Word! Be MIGHTY MOMS!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
