Much More Than This
Bible Reading Today: 2 Kings 14, 2 Chronicles 25
2 Chronicles 25:9 And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.
Sometimes temptations & distractions are disguised as good opportunities & investments...Amaziah king of Judah was going to war against the Edomites & paid to have some of Israel's army go with them. However, God spoke through a prophet and said for Israel not to go to battle with them because God was not with them; they did not have God's favor at that time. Amaziah then said, "What about the money we spent on the soldiers!?" (Paraphrased). And the prophet asnwered that God could give them much more than that! Many people take chances, hoping to get some good results or double & triple their investments...but with God, you're not taking a chance...you're making the best choice! God has the best battle strategy and best business strategy! Trust Him and He will do far better & greater things than you can imagine!
