Never let down
Bible Reading Today: Exodus 16-18
Exodus 17:12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
Joshua went out to battle against Amalek, and Moses had to hold up his hands to achieve the victory...but he couldn't do it alone! First and foremost, Moses had to trust in God & obey what he was told to do-second, he needed the help of his brethren & friends, Aaron & Hur. They were there to hold up his hands when they became weak...and we too must follow the example of God and those He blesses into our lives as a source of help & strength in a time of need! God has never let us down...He holds us up when we feel like falling-a lot of the time through our godly, Spiritual influences He gives us! Our arms can be fully surrendered in praise, knowing that in any time of weakness, our God & our church family are there to hold us up! After this took place in these chapters, God also provided more help for Moses to judge over the people. God will ALWAYS provide! Let's also be those faithful friends who will never let others down-let's first be faithful toward God, then be sure to faithfully serve those around us. We won't be let down, and neither will the ones we love!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
