No Longer Bondmen

Bible Reading Today: Leviticus 26-27

Leviticus 26:13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

God takes many instances to remind the Israelites of where they came from. It may be hard to re-visit a difficult time, but knowing you longer dwell in that season of life just reminds you of the victory and the overcoming power of God! It also keeps us humble and reminds us that we need God at all times. He makes our good times great, and turns every evil around for our good...but, we have to remember, we are no longer bondmen to our chains! We have to look at the past and remember the victory, and not keep a victim mentality! The Lord's side is always the winning side! What were we once slaves to? What kept us in chains? Are we still struggling to break free? As God always reminds us, He is the One Who can do that for us! Only He can completely sever the ties of bondage by developing a loving bond with Him!

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
