Not as scary as you think...
Based on Isaiah 14-16, Ephesians 5:1-16
"They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?" Isaiah 14:16-17
This Scripture is referring to the devil, evil himself! When we one day see him for who he is, we will ask ourselves these questions...is this REALLY the guy who made us fear? That caused kingdoms to shake!? This is such a powerful thing to keep in mind...that the devil has no power at all against our God! This is what we should not only keep in mind when we see him, but we should keep this in mind RIGHT NOW! Without God, we will live in fear of the devil & be overpowered. But with God, the devil can't prevail-not now, not then, not ever! The devil isn't as scary as we think! It's more our own sinful nature we have to worry about...
"And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness." Isaiah 16:5
"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Ephesians 5:1-2
Jesus alone is on the throne! Therefore, we must only follow Him! We must put all control in His hands so that we don't submit our human nature to the devil's evil nature...remember, the devil is not as scary or powerful as we think he is...we give him too much credit! All the credit, all the glory and all the worship belongs to God! Why serve the devil out of fear? We need to serve God with a fear & reverence that's beautiful, pure, good & holy. Don't submit to the weaker one! Submit to God alone!
"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." Ephesians 5:15-16
Do we sit paralyzed in fear of evil & the unknown? Do we think the devil is out to get us? We must realize that our flesh is more scary than anything! It's only our own selfish will that will lead us down the devil's path...but if we submit our will to God's Will, then the devil has no power over us!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
