Nothing Left Undone
Based on Ezekiel 23-25, Proverbs 21
"Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms. 36: The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;" Ezekiel 23:35-36.
These 2 above-mentioned women, Aholah & Aholibah, represented Samaria & Jerusalem. This was yet another representation/depiction of what God's people were doing to His heart in the abominations they were committing. These 2 went and essentially cheated on God with the people of Assyria & Egypt & all of their idols. They forgot The Lord. They forgot that they belonged to Him first! But God, however, does not forget things like that. He leaves nothing undone in judgment when we hang on to sin...but if we reject & forget our sinful lifestyles, God will forget it too! That's what we need to do-instead of leaving our relationship with God undone, we need to undo our sinful habits!
"In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee. 14: I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD." Ezekiel 24:13-14.
If we continue to push God further & further away by our own doing, then God will stay distant...if we choose not to be purged & go back to God, back to our FIRST LOVE, He will turn away as well. We can't forget that it's God's heart we are hurting...this is a relationship! We can't leave it undone!
"And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity; 4: Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk." Ezekiel 25:3-4.
Even though God was facing rejection from His own people, He remembered how the Ammonites mocked His people, and so God still defended His people by taking vengeance on the Ammonites! He still loves us all the time. He still fights our battles & does not leave anything undone if people come against us, so why should we reject God by accepting sin??
"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." Proverbs 21:1.
God will have His way! Let's walk in His ways if we want to make it ALL THE WAY! Let's not leave our relationship with God undone!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
