Now you're talkin'!
Reading of the Day 6/15/25: Psalms 18-20
Psalm 19:3: There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
It is interesting to go back and look at how the languages of the world were created. People grew too accustomed to being way too involved with their own "little world." They tried to create a kingdom of their own (a You-Topia!) by building the tower of Babel, claiming it could reach as high as Heaven...but God intervened & made their world much bigger! And that was God's desire from the beginning! He wanted people to scatter & fill the earth. Not dividing people, but developing diverse people...showing us that wherever we are, He is. Giving every culture an opportunity to seek Him. Not allowing one large group to come together and reject their need for God. God created every language, so guess what? He speaks YOURS! In fact, the universal language we all speak (and the one that God wants to hear most) is the language of the heart! If the words of your language are expressing what your heart truly feels, then God is drawing near to you as you are drawing near to Him (James 4:8)! He not only understands the words, but He understands where those words are coming from. That place of excitement. That place of sorrow. That place of pain. That place of uncertainty...and the list can go on & on. He knows. He created languages to give the cries of your heart a voice. People were all created unique, but also equal. JESUS LOVES YOU! HE KNOWS YOUR LANGUAGE! He wants to hear your heart speak, and His Heart will speak right back! We serve a God Who loves diversity? Now you're talkin'! Remember to come join us at church for Missions Month all through September! (More church details always shared through my Facebook page, but definitely let me know if you're interested!).

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
