On the Other Side
Reading of the Day: 3/12/25: Joshua 24, Judges 1-2
Joshua 24:14: Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
We all have a story. We all have many challenging situations where we can look back & say, "That was God at work!" We can thank The Lord that we came out on the other side of whatever situation it was...but there is one decision we all have to make where we come out on the other side not just "still alive" but "born again". We must all repent, pass through the waters of baptism, and receive the Holy Ghost to be saved! Those are the 3 keys to the Kingdom! Joshua reminded the Israelites that on the other side of the flood, thinking back to Noah's time and also before the parting of the Red Sea in Egypt, they were all subject to and serving other gods...but on this side of the flood, they were fresh & new! They were to live a brand new life in this new land...and that's the same with us! When we pass through those waters of baptism, we are now on the other side of our flood! We are not the same as we used to be! We come out born again, ready to live as a new creatures in Christ! There is truly no better feeling than being on the other side of the flood...and when we commit to that experience & live a holy life for Him, we also look forward to enjoying an afterlife on the other side in Heaven, eternally with Jesus! There is nothing greater than that!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
