Bible Reading Today: Job 38-39

Job 38:36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

We can give credit to many people for many things. History is filled with people achieving great accomplishments, overcoming the worst situations, inventing new inventions and so much more...but how did all that come to be? Wisdom & understanding had to be planted within, before a manifestation of something great could take place without! Only God can do that! In these 2 chapters, God speaks to Job. Job at this point is having trouble understanding how & why God allowed all this to happen (although he never turns away from God in the process!). God questions Job many times on where Job was in creation...remember, we don't need all the answers! The questions gave Job assurance that Job's life was safe in God's Hands, no matter what! The world was created & existed long before Job, or any of us for that matter! So in a way, this is God saying, "I got this, don't worry. Just trust me!" Again, man has achieved so many things...but it always points & directs us to look to God! The ultimate credit & glory goes to Him! Before we existed, God had a plan for us! Trust Him today!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
