OUR DAILY BREAD

"Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled." John 6:26. Jesus knows our true need & desire for Him does not stem from the wonderous miracles He performs, but the simple needs He is able to provide. He did not come to entertain, but to SUSTAIN!

He is our daily Bread! He is the Word made flesh & our daily sustenance (John 1:14). He wants to be a present help in a time of need (Psalm 46:1), from the smallest hurdles to our biggest mountains. In our friends, what impresses us most about them is how available they become at our lowest. That's exactly why Jesus wants to be more than a miracle worker for us! He is the friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24).

He will be there any time, all the time, everyday...OUR DAILY BREAD! And that's the greatest miracle. 💕😉

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
