Our Generations

Bible Reading Today: 1 Chronicles 1-2

1 Chronicles 1:29 These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

"These are their generations..." as stated in this Scripture goes on to list out the biggest family tree ever! It is so cool how God includes the generations & lineage of all the families of His people! What's even cooler is that we are written into that lineage! Our generations, although not written by name of course, are referenced in many places of the Bible! The New Testament talks much of what the last days would be like in the Words of Jesus-and we are living in them now! We need to get ready & get written in the Lamb's Book of Life in Heaven! When we repent, get baptized by full immersion in water in The Name of Jesus & receive The Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in new tongues, we are going through the death, burial & Resurrection of Jesus! We die out to sin & live a Spiritual life of holiness! All of this was meant to be passed down through every generation, right down to us today! These Old Testament lists serve a great purpose-to keep reminding us that every Name matters to Jesus!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
