Pass it on!
Reading of the Day: Exodus 8-10
Exodus 10:2: And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the Lord.
Have you ever read or watched something where the storyline & ending were so good and well thought-out that you couldn't wait to tell someone? That's exactly how God designed His Word! Many of us have heard the stories filtered through others, but there's something about reading it for ourselves that really connects us to The Author. In this Scripture, God gives Moses a deeper reason why He allowed the plagues to be sent over Egypt. It wasn't just a punishment, but a testimony! When the generations to come after Moses would hear of these terrible yet incredible things, they would have a testimony of the amazing power of God! But they wouldn't know unless it was passed on! Before it was written, it was told...and as centuries passed, more & more people would fall in love with God through His Word! Today, we don't get to just hear someone else tell us, we can open the Book for ourselves, immerse ourselves into the story, and feel like we are really present in Egypt as these miracles & judgments went forth! And then, when we read & connect with The Lord, we can pass it on! There's a whole world out there that needs to remember the miraculous, that needs a reminder of what a personal connection with The Lord is truly like...the story on the pages includes US! We can not only share what God has done in the past, but what He is doing in us RIGHT NOW! There is so much to share...so pass it on!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
